Welcome to Drumhof

Looking for drum lessons in Ghent? At Drumhof, I teach both beginners and intermediate drummers. I'm Ben, an experienced drum teacher based in Ghent and passionate musician.

From holding drumsticks for the first time to deepening your core skills, I’ll help you sound like a rock or metal drummer. Expect to learn accents, speed, double bass drum, fills, and your favorite songs. Lessons will be on electric and acoustic kits.

Meet your teacher, Ben

I’ve been drumming for over 15 years and played in bands like The H of Horse, The Currents, and STAAL. With The H of Horse, I released an EP and a full-length album. With STAAL, we released a mini-album. I’ve got stage experience and recently performed as a street drummer at the 2025 Gentse Feesten.

I also play some guitar, which helps during lessons to jam with beginners. I briefly ran a YouTube channel featuring game soundtrack covers — this gave me solid experience in recording, mixing, and production. Currently, I'm building a digital tool to support my lessons.
